Hindustan Institute of Management and Computer Studies (HIMCS) have organized orientation program-phase II for their newly admitted MBA and MCA students. It was organized at various stages for the new batch students who are enrolled in these courses. The first phase of this program has already been completed in the month of December 2020, today the second phase was started from 4 January 2021. The program was inaugurated with Saraswati Vandana and dance, lighting the lamp.

On this occasion by Dr. Naveen Gupta Sir (Director-HIMCS) guided the students on the challenges related to mental health problems. He explained that “In this era of competition, we have started paying more attention to the negative aspect of it due to problems in life, negativity, depression etc.”  If we work for our own development, then we will be inspired by others rather that we will be jealous of them. So there should be healthy competition. In addition, he said that we should take care of our health, family, society and nature. He also explained in detail the neurotic and psychotic disorder keeping in mind the mental health. He said that education can be made better during this corona period as we are continuously providing value based education online as well as offline. I hope that your 2-year journey in this institute will be beneficial for you all.

Mr. V. K. Sharma Sir (EVP- SGI) addressed the students as well. He praised HIMCS and said that it is not an institute but it is a movement. This is a movement where our students with professional education learn the responsibilities of building their characters are also fulfilled. After its establishment, it has raised a mountain of achievements till date. It is the only institute in Agra – Mathura region which is NAAC Accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council for M.B.A. and M.C.A courses. I wish all my students a bright future. He also defined 16 points of success in detail.

On this occasion, the collective list of placements for the last 23 years was shared by Dr Priya Pandey (Head- T&P ) and Mr Shobhit Kant Sharma informed that our institution has given managers and IT professionals in various different fields for the past years. The placement department of Sharda Group invites reputed companies and ensures their placements.

Mr Naresh Dhingra (Head-PDP) and his team guided the students and told them what improvements are needed within the next 2 years to raise their personalities and how the PDP classes would be beneficial for them. He discussed the role of communication in overall personality development.

At the end, the final year students of MBA and MCA have organized cultural programmes for their juniors for developing cordial relationships with them. Newly admitted students showed their hidden talent in open theatre which was highly commendable.

National Youth Day was celebrated with great pomp at Anand College of Education, Keetham Agra. The program was inaugurated by Dr. PK Singh by lighting a lamp in front of Maa Saraswati and laying a wreath on the portrait of Swami Vivekananda. Thinker, philosopher, young monk, sharp speaker and ideal personality. Swami ji, who has revived the Indian cultural consciousness, awakened self-esteem in the Indian youth and created a new ray of hope. All of us should take inspiration from the life and thoughts of Swami ji, the pioneer of Indian Renaissance.

He emphasized on education to earn a living. He said that education should be such that it will provide employment to the child. Blessed is our India land, where such a great man was born, we need to follow the literature of Swamiji only then the students will be given a new direction. On this occasion, all the spokespersons presented their views and the students also presented their statements. Dr. Vishesh Rajput, Dr. Girish Kumar, Mrs. Alka Mishra, Mrs. Bhavna Agre, Mrs. Usha Singh etc. were present in the program. Gauri Chaturvedi, a student, was conducted.

Anand College of Pharmacy welcomed freshers of B. Pharm & D. Pharm on 16^th January, 2021. Prof. V. K. Sharma, Executive Vice President, SGI, Agra inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. After Saraswti vandana and bouquet presentations, Prof. (Dr) Kashmira J. Gohil, Dean, Anand College of Pharmacy, welcomed all and pointed out the main achievements of the college, while addressing the audience mentioning the historical importance of the day as nationwide vaccination against corona has started in India after never seen lockdown in the country with the major chaos that has ensued in world due to this covid-19. As Anand college of pharmacy has always gathered and maintained momentum for regular classes as online and now online plus offline classes, the students were motivated and instructed to be as dedicated and punctual in their studies emphasizing the need for Discipline as an integral part of student’s lives as the college is committed towards student’s growth and excellence in training in order to cater to the growing demands of Pharma industry. Prof, V. K. Sharma, Vice president of SGI, Agra addressed and motivated students conveying that the life is also a celebration and appealed all to be focused upon professional competence, skill, knowledge, behavior and good attitude to create a strong foundation in order to lead successful life forever. Shri Y. K. Gupta, Hon. Vice chairman, SGI, sent his blessings in the message.

Students participated in an assortment of cultural performances such as   Dancing, Singing, and stand-up comedy; ramp walk and standing dance were the center of attraction among these programs. Khushi Sharma and NamanVatyani (B. Pharm 1 st Year), were chosen as the “Ms. and Mr. fresher” 2021, and  Sanskriti Srivastava and Pragyesh (D.Pharm 1 st Year) were chosen as the “Ms. And Mr. fresher” 2021,and were felicitated by the Dean Prof (Dr). K. J. Gohil. The whole event was coordinated and managed by Cultural Co-coordinators: Mr. Harsh Bardwaj, Mrs. Khushboo Lavania, Ms. komal Gurnani and Ms. Ashini Singh. 

Anand College became the winner in the Kho-Kho competition. Pratham Pradeep Dandotiya Smriti Two Day District Level Kho Kho Competition was held at John Milton School, in which the final match was played between Anand College of Education and Sun Shine Academy. Anand College of Education won by 7–0 points.

Founder of Anand College of Education Shri. Y. K. Gupta and the Director Mr. Dr. PK Singh congratulated the winning team. The team coach was Dr. Girish Kumar and team manager Mr. Mukesh Dinkar.

Anand College of Pharmacy (SGI, Agra) celebrated “World Health Day”, on 7th April, 2021. on theme “building a fairer, healthier world” as the theme 21^st century.

All students participated with great enthusiasm along with faculty members through a powerpoint presentation on “COVID-19, Preventions and Precautions to create awareness regarding ongoing pandemic.

Dean, Anand College of Pharmacy Prof. (Dr). Kashmira J. Gohil, congratulated all students and staff for celebrating this day with great enthusiasm and appreciated them for their active participation imparting information on ongoing covid and vaccination. The students were further motivated to maintain a professional cultured environment in the college.

Kushi Kapoor(B. Pharm 1^stYear, Section-A), Ayesha Kausar and Tapan Kumar(D. Pharm 2nd Year), Harshit Sachdeva(B. Pharm 2^nd Year, Section-A) andAryan Bharti (B. Pharm 1st Year, Section-A) and Anjali Chauhan(B. Pharm 1^stYear, Section-B) participated in oral presentation and enhanced awareness on “World Health Day”.
