Department of Biotechnology, Anand Engineering College organized WORLD CANCER DAY on Feb 5, 2018 in the Media Center Biotechnology. Throughout the World, World Cancer Day is organized on February 4 but due to holiday on Feb 4 this year, Event was organized by us on Feb 5.
The aim of the event was to raise awareness of cancer and to encourage its prevention, detection, and treatment. World Cancer Day was founded by the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) to support the goals of the World Cancer Declaration. The primary goal of the World Cancer Day is to significantly reduce illness and death caused by cancer year by year.
