Here at HIMCS, Talent Hunt Competition is a platform for MBA and MCA newcomers to showcase their hidden talents. A talent hunt is an event in which participants perform the arts of singing, dancing, lip-syncing, acting, playing an instrument, poetry, comedy or other activities to showcase skills.

A slew of performances were held for the new batch of students. These included performances in dance, music, stand-up comedy and oratory. A funny skit and a management quiz were also on the cards. Thus talent hunt is much awaited affair for seniors as well as juniors. This ceremony began with a candle light welcome for juniors where Director of the institute, Dr. Naveen Gupta lightened the lamp. The ceremony saw many dazzling performances by both seniors and juniors alike from energetic dance numbers that made evening even more charming. Students performed on various songs like kab tak chup baithe, kamli kamli, ore piya, zulie zulie, Oh beta Ji etc. Ramp walk rounds were there, where juniors suppressed their feelings and introduced themselves. They answered the Judge’s questions.

Dr. Naveen Gupta openly praised the immense potential of management and computer studies students. He said that today there is a need to express your words vigorously in front of others where communication becomes very important. He said that I have seen many such students who appear to be very influential externally but as soon as they are asked to express their views on a subject, the reality comes out. Therefore, today there is a need to create our own image.
