Anand College of Pharmacy, SGI, Agra organized an orientation program for newcomer (fresher) students of B. Pharm. and D. Pharm. on 12 October 2021 in B. Pharm hall of the college. More than 120 students participated in this program with their parents.
Prof. (Dr.) K. J. Gohil, Dean of the college welcomed and congratulated the newcomers on getting admission in Anand college of Pharmacy and talked about the importance of the noble pharmacy profession along with the need of proper aptitude, attitude and discipline from students in studying the professional course as Pharmacy.
Prof. V. K. Sharma (Executive Vice President of SGI) delivered a motivational speech including deep knowledge of the domain, good attitude & behavior, and ability to apply professionalism in real life.
Prof. (Dr.) K. J. Gohil along with Prof. V. K. Sharma felicitated meritorious students of session 2019-20 and 2020-21 respectively. Dr. Pankaj Verma (Registrar) delivered an introduction to the college and organization. Dr. Rekha T. Rajput, Controller of examination delivered a speech on examination patterns and assessment systems. Dr. Ritesh Kumar delivered a presentation on the introduction and scope of pharmacy. Mrs. M. Shamshath Begum informed the rules and regulations of college to students as a counsellor.
In this event, the Dean along with all the faculty members of the college congratulated and blessed them for their bright career in the profession of pharmacy.
Dr. Pankaj Verma, Dr. Rekha T Rajput, Dr. Deepali Pandey and Mr. Gurvinder Pal Singh were the coordinators of this event.
An orientation program was conducted to welcome the newly admitted students in first year at Anand Engineering College Technical Campus Agra, the prestigious college of Sharda Group of Institutions. The program was organized according to the prescribed schedule of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow.
Event was inaugurated by Dr. Shailendra Singh, Director AECTC, Dr. V K Sharma, EVP-SGI, Dr. Mukesh Agarwal, Regional Dy Director Basic Education and Mr. Jawahar Lal Srivastava, City Magistrate Mathura.
Dr. Shailendra Singh, Director of the college congratulated all the students and their parents for being a part of ANAND Family. In his welcome address he briefs the students about the college facilities like hostel, medical, transport, library and laboratories. He also presented the achievements of the students of the college. He threw some light on annual celebrations, Counseling System, Training and Placement, Training and Development and Cultural Activities. He motivated the students and asked them to come out of their comfort zone and work hard. He also suggested the students keep in touch with the alumni of the college.
Prof. V. K Sharma, Executive Vice President, Sharda Group of Institutions thanked all the parents to express their faith in the college. He said that good education, decency, good attitude and communication skills are very important aspects for a successful career. He advised the students to be self-governed and be disciplined throughout their life.
Dr Manish Babu Agarwal, Coordinator of First Year interacted with the parents and students and told that the Induction Program will help the students to understand the need and responsibilities towards the family, society and nature along with their core subjects.
An Awareness Programme on “World Pneumonia Day” was organized at Anand College of Pharmacy, SGI, Agra on 12thNovember, 2021 with the theme “Stop Pneumonia- Every Breath Counts”
All students, Faculty and staff members participated in this awareness programme with great enthusiasm. The students presented excellent Powerpoint & Poster Presentations regarding the management of Pneumonia to create awareness.
Prof. (Dr.) K J. Gohil, Dean and Prof. (Dr.) Gyanendra Kumar Sharma, CAC, Anand College of Pharmacy congratulated all students , Faculty and staff members for organizing this awareness programme with great zeal and appreciated them for their active participation.
In Power Point Oral Presentation Anjali Chauhan (B. Pharm, 2nd year, Sec-A), Yash Saxena (B.Pharm, 1st year, Sec-B) and Vishal Sharma (B.Pharm, 1st year, Sec-B) secured First, Second and Third positions respectively.
In Poster Presentation Chavi Sharma (B.Pharm, 2nd year, Sec-A), Nandini Gupta (B.Pharm 1st year, Sec-B) and Shanskriti Ojha (B.Pharm, 1st year, Sec-B) secured First, Second and Third Position respectively.
The judges of the event were Dr. Rekha T. Rajput, Dr. Ritesh Kumar, Dr. Gyanendra Singh and Dr. Deepali Pandey.
The event was coordinated by faculty members, Mrs.Khushboo Lavania, Ms. Ashini Singh and Ms. Diksha Singh.
Anand Engineering College Agra in association Health Department Agra organized a free COVID-19 vaccination camp for its students, employees and their family members. The Vaccination camp was inaugurated by Dr. Shailendra Singh Director AEC. On this Occasion He said that the main aim of this Vaccination Camp is to ensure 100 percent vaccination among all students and employees of the College. More than 100 people got their Vaccination in this camp.
Dr. Deepali Pandey (President, IIC), Dr. Ritesh Kumar (Convener, IIC) along Mr. Amit Kumar Baghel (Student, B. Pharm.) worked in Institution Innovation Cell to achieve this goal under the able guidance and supervision of Prof. (Dr.) Kashmira J. Gohil, Dean, Anand College of Pharmacy, Agra.

The Vice Chairman of the SGI group, Shri Y. K. Gupta and Executive Vice president, Prof. V. K. Sharma also appreciated the efforts of the IIC team for the same.
Like every year, Talent Hunt competition was organized this year too with full enthusiasm and gaiety at Hindustan Institute of Management and Computer Studies, Farah, Mathura. This year, due to full admission in all the seats allotted to our institute, the whole program got a full moon. At the beginning of the program MBA and MCA,the students warmly congratulated all the teachers. The newly arrived students were given an opportunity to showcase the hidden talents within the students. Through the internal competitions going on for the last one week, MBA and MCA out of 120 first year students, 35 newly admitted students got an opportunity to reach the final stage.
On the occasion of Talent Hunt, Dr. Naveen Gupta, Director of the Institute, openly appreciated the immense potential of the management students. He said that today there is a need to express one’s point of view in front of others in a powerful way where communication becomes very important. He said that I have seen many such students who look very impressive outwardly but as soon as they are asked to express their views on a subject, the reality comes to the fore. Therefore, today there is a need to create our image in both our internal and external forms so that our talent can come out 100%. Today there is a need for us to strengthen our network so that the new batch students can take inspiration from their seniors and learn from their experiences.
This competition mainly consisted of a personal interview, showcasing your real decisive ability, ramp walk, quiz, intellectual test, coding ability etc. The new visitors to the institute impressed everyone with their talent.

MCA-Head of Department Shri N. K. Mishra, MBA-Head of Department Dr. Abhilasha Singh, Dr. Riju A. Singh and all the teachers and staff of the institute were present at APJ Kalam Auditorium. Everyone present in the auditorium jumped with joy after seeing the presentation of the newly admitted students of the first year of the institute. At the same time, seeing the theatrical performance of the first-year students, everyone appreciated their efforts, the students gave a melodious presentation of music by guitar, in which Jatin Jain, Mayank Rathore and Payesh captivated everyone’s heart. The wonderful talent of the students came to the fore through group dance, group anthem and poetry recitation. During the program the ramp walk done by the students as showstoppers was highlighting the self-confidence contained in them which is very important to strengthen their personality. During this, Miss U.P.-2020 Pooja Singh and Mr.Ikrar Malik(Mr U.P.-2019) were present as external judges. Dr. Yogita Narang and Dr. Gunjan Bhatnagar acted as judges for the Innovator Round.
Dr. Sheetal Sachdeva and Mr. Vivek Pandey handled the entire talent hunt on behalf of the faculty. Mukul Saraswat, Swati Chauhan, Mugdha Singh, Hardik Jain, Manohar, Deepti, Kanchan as well as Prateek, Himashu and Tavish contributed their contribution under technical support from MBA final year as anchors of talent hunt.
The students of Anand Engineering College, Agra organized a Freshers’ Party on Dec 18, 2021 to welcome the new Batch of 2021. The purpose of the Freshers Party was to make every new student feel connected as an integral part of the ANAND family and be ready to take on the challenges of the year ahead. Jovial smiles and high spirits marked the welcome party for the new students. The party was organized at Sir C V Raman Auditorium. It manifested youth and enthusiasm at its best.
As a trend of the Institute, the party began with the auspicious lamp lighting ceremony and prayers to Goddess Saraswati. Dr. Shailendra Singh, Director inaugurated the Event by welcoming the students through his motivational speech. Mr. Dharam Singh, Registrar welcomed all new students and said that fresher’s party is all about creating everlasting relationships with each other. Such events are an indication of union among the students.
Pulsating ambience, flashing lights and foot-tapping music, set the mood of the party right. The excitement augmented to a joyful high as performances graced the stage. The mercury began to rise, the dance floor was left open for some unbridled energy. Joy and happiness could be seen among students of each and every course at the college.
