Hindustan College ties up with NSIC, Faridabad

Hindustan College of Science and Technology, a prestigious institute of Sharda Group  has tied up with National Small Industries, Technical Services Centre, Neemka, Faridabad for training, internship and placement of students.

NSIC is an organization of the Ministry of Micro Small Medium Enterprises, Government of India, which has a state-of-the-art technical training centre in Faridabad.  It is among the centre’s state-of-the-art technologies to offer training programs and placement opportunities for undergraduate engineering and technical students in various disciplines.  This MOU has been conducted in NSIC Faridabad.

This laboratory will help the students in many subjects like robotic systems, machine vision technology, industrial internet of things etc.  This will help the students of Electronics Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science.

 

Shri Ramkumar Yadav Deputy Chief of NSIC expressed his happiness that the NSIC Technical Servicesis happy to introduce special training programs for college students in association with Hindustan College. He informed that the centre offers customized training programs for students as per the market requirements.  With this agreement, handholding support will be provided to students for working in the laboratory and NSIC centres.  They will also be trained by the experts of the centre.  Studentswill also be trained during summer and winter break. He also informed that college teachers will also be trained under this agreement.

Mr. YK Gupta, Vice Chairman, Sharda Group and Executive Vice President Prof. VK Sharma, Hindustan College’s expressed happiness over the agreement with NSIC  Hesaid that the students of the institute will be certified by the training centres of the government.

Dr.  Rajiv Kumar Upadhyay, the director of the institute thanked NSIC, Faridabad for this agreement with the institute and told that the students of Electronics and Communication, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Chemical Engineering will be trained by the centre and they will get excellent placement opportunities.

Dr. T. Senthil, Head of Industry Interface stated that this agreement would give the student an opportunity to increase his knowledge.  Under this agreement, the student will receive training in various subjects such as Pion, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, 3D Printing, Material Testing, Chemical Testing and Robotic Systems which will help in increasing employment opportunities for the student.  It also planned to organize employment fairs for the employment opportunities of the students.

On this occasion, all the deans, head of department, teachers and employees of the institute expressed happiness over the agreement with NSIC and Hindustan College.

Talent Hunt-2020 – HIMCS

The first-year students of Hindustan Institute of Management and Computer Studies, Farah, Mathura (HIMCS) walked into their first year of MBA and MCA program. In an effort to make the fresher’s feel welcomed as a part of the HIMCS family, the Talent Hunt programme was organized by the seniors. Seniors shared their experiences with the new batch of students as they spoke about what awaits the new students in the academic year ahead. Here at HIMCS, Talent Hunt Competition is a platform for MBA and MCA newcomers to showcase their hidden talents. A talent hunt is an event in which participants perform the arts of singing, dancing, lip-syncing, acting, playing an instrument, poetry, comedy or other activities to showcase skills.

A slew of performances were held for the new batch of students. These included performances in dance, music, stand-up comedy and oratory. A funny skit and a management quiz were also on the cards. Thus talent hunt is much awaited affair for seniors as well as juniors. This ceremony began with a candle light welcome for juniors where Director of the institute, Dr. Naveen Gupta lightened the lamp. The ceremony saw many dazzling performances by both seniors and juniors alike from energetic dance numbers that made evening even more charming. Students performed on various songs like kab tak chup baithe, kamli kamli, ore piya, zulie zulie, Oh beta Ji etc. Ramp walk rounds were there, where juniors suppressed their feelings and introduced themselves. They answered the Judge’s questions.

Dr. Naveen Gupta openly praised the immense potential of management and computer studies students. He said that today there is a need to express your words vigorously in front of others where communication becomes very important. He said that I have seen many such students who appear to be very influential externally but as soon as they are asked to express their views on a subject, the reality comes out. Therefore, today there is a need to create our own image. We need to strengthen our network so that the students of the new batch can learn from their experiences and could take inspiration from their seniors.

Best Intellect- Saurabh Upadhyay

Best Personality- Srishti Chauhan (MBA) and Gaurav Saini (MCA)

Best Performer- Neha Verma and Manav Arora

The Departmental Head-MBA, Dr. Abhilasha Singh, Dr. Riju A. Singh, MCA-Head Shri N. K. Mishra and all the teachers and staff of the institute were present in APJ Kalam Auditorium today. All the people present in the auditorium cheered after seeing the presentation of the first-year aspiring students of the institute. At the same time, the theatrical performances of the final year students were highly appreciated. He captivated everyone with their unique skit. The students performed the melody by the guitar. The amazing talent of the students was enhanced through group dance, group anthem and recitation of poetry together. With the ramp-walk performed by the students was revealing the confidence contained in them, which is essential to strengthen their personality.

Dr. Sheetal Sachdeva, Dr. Gunjan Bhatnagar and Mr. Vivek Pandey were handled the responsibility on behalf of the faculty. From MBA second year Aishwarya Bulani, Rashmi Yadav, Utkarsh Jain, Akshay Pundir, Suraj Chandola, Rishita Jain, Prateek Chawla, Sonali Sonkar, Adarsh Chaudhary were the coordinators for this event and from MCA second year, Prashant Rajawat and Ila Varasi handled this responsibility.

Hardik Jain, a first year student sharing his views said, “Our seniors really put in a lot of time and effort into organizing this talent hunt event and we appreciate them for giving us an insight into their wonderful journey at HIMCS”.
Acknowledging the efforts of the seniors, Mugdha Singh, stated that “In these pandemic times our seniors gave us fresher’s a welcome to the HIMCS family. The love and affection was felt by all of us”.

AEC ties up with Coding Ninja

The objective of this agreement is to promote and interact with one another, by sharing expertise and resources in the area of common interest for mutual benefits.

MoU between AEC and Coding Ninjas will ensure that both the parties arrive at a common platform to work towards their vision and increase awareness about the importance of Coding and Technical skills among the student community.

Under this MoU Coding Ninjas shall provide a platform & training program with the features which can be used to enhance the learning environment in college and will also encourage students to practice more programming questions and develop a deep understanding of the subject.

This shall be executed in the areas of C++, Python & Java programming languages to increase the employability of engineering students of pre-final and final year.

This training shall include theory and practical classes, and on the successful completion of the training, students will be provided Industry-recognized certificates of completion & excellence by Coding Ninjas; a company that has more than 300 placement partners and an impressive record of placing students in tech jobs.

This collaboration will be a blended learning model, wherein Coding Ninjas will help to enhance the learning process of Anand Engineering College (Agra) students by providing a better learning management system, and industry standard content with extensive training which will make them placement-ready; Anand Engineering College Agra will provide Faculty Coordinators to help Coding Ninjas execute their courses in a blended model.

The areas/activities will be further expanded and diversified with the mutual consent of both the parties.

HIMCS organized Talent Hunt – 2021

Like every year, Talent Hunt competition was organized this year too with full enthusiasm and gaiety at Hindustan Institute of Management and Computer Studies, Farah, Mathura. This year, due to full admission in all the seats allotted to our institute, the whole program got a full moon. At the beginning of the program MBA and MCA,the students warmly congratulated all the teachers. The newly arrived students were given an opportunity to showcase the hidden talents within the students. Through the internal competitions going on for the last one week, MBA and MCA out of 120 first year students, 35 newly admitted students got an opportunity to reach the final stage.

On the occasion of Talent Hunt, Dr. Naveen Gupta, Director of the Institute, openly appreciated the immense potential of the management students. He said that today there is a need to express one’s point of view in front of others in a powerful way where communication becomes very important. He said that I have seen many such students who look very impressive outwardly but as soon as they are asked to express their views on a subject, the reality comes to the fore. Therefore, today there is a need to create our image in both our internal and external forms so that our talent can come out 100%. Today there is a need for us to strengthen our network so that the new batch students can take inspiration from their seniors and learn from their experiences.

This competition mainly consisted of a personal interview, showcasing your real decisive ability, ramp walk, quiz, intellectual test, coding ability etc. The new visitors to the institute impressed everyone with their talent.

At the same time, seeing the theatrical performance of the first-year students, everyone appreciated their efforts, the students gave a melodious presentation of music by guitar, in which Jatin Jain, Mayank Rathore and Payesh captivated everyone’s heart. The wonderful talent of the students came to the fore through group dance, group anthem and poetry recitation. During the program the ramp walk done by the students as showstoppers was highlighting the self-confidence contained in them which is very important to strengthen their personality. During this, Miss U.P.-2020 Pooja Singh and Mr.Ikrar Malik(Mr U.P.-2019) were present as external judges. Dr. Yogita Narang and Dr. Gunjan Bhatnagar acted as judges for the Innovator Round.

Dr. Sheetal Sachdeva and Mr. Vivek Pandey handled the entire talent hunt on behalf of the faculty. Mukul Saraswat, Swati Chauhan, Mugdha Singh, Hardik Jain, Manohar, Deepti, Kanchan as well as Prateek, Himashu and Tavish contributed their contribution under technical support from MBA final year as anchors of talent hunt.
