Anand College of Pharmacy welcomed freshers of B. Pharm & D. Pharm on 16^th January, 2021. Prof. V. K. Sharma, Executive Vice President, SGI, Agra inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. After Saraswti vandana and bouquet presentations, Prof. (Dr) Kashmira J. Gohil, Dean, Anand College of Pharmacy, welcomed all and pointed out the main achievements of the college, while addressing the audience mentioning the historical importance of the day as nationwide vaccination against corona has started in India after never seen lockdown in the country with the major chaos that has ensued in world due to this covid-19. As Anand college of pharmacy has always gathered and maintained momentum for regular classes as online and now online plus offline classes, the students were motivated and instructed to be as dedicated and punctual in their studies emphasizing the need for Discipline as an integral part of student’s lives as the college is committed towards student’s growth and excellence in training in order to cater to the growing demands of Pharma industry. Prof, V. K. Sharma, Vice president of SGI, Agra addressed and motivated students conveying that the life is also a celebration and appealed all to be focused upon professional competence, skill, knowledge, behavior and good attitude to create a strong foundation in order to lead successful life forever. Shri Y. K. Gupta, Hon. Vice chairman, SGI, sent his blessings in the message.

Students participated in an assortment of cultural performances such as   Dancing, Singing, and stand-up comedy; ramp walk and standing dance were the center of attraction among these programs. Khushi Sharma and NamanVatyani (B. Pharm 1 st Year), were chosen as the “Ms. and Mr. fresher” 2021, and  Sanskriti Srivastava and Pragyesh (D.Pharm 1 st Year) were chosen as the “Ms. And Mr. fresher” 2021,and were felicitated by the Dean Prof (Dr). K. J. Gohil. The whole event was coordinated and managed by Cultural Co-coordinators: Mr. Harsh Bardwaj, Mrs. Khushboo Lavania, Ms. komal Gurnani and Ms. Ashini Singh. 

Anand College of Pharmacy (SGI, Agra) celebrated “World Health Day”, on 7th April, 2021. on theme “building a fairer, healthier world” as the theme 21^st century.

All students participated with great enthusiasm along with faculty members through a powerpoint presentation on “COVID-19, Preventions and Precautions to create awareness regarding ongoing pandemic.

Dean, Anand College of Pharmacy Prof. (Dr). Kashmira J. Gohil, congratulated all students and staff for celebrating this day with great enthusiasm and appreciated them for their active participation imparting information on ongoing covid and vaccination. The students were further motivated to maintain a professional cultured environment in the college.

Kushi Kapoor(B. Pharm 1^stYear, Section-A), Ayesha Kausar and Tapan Kumar(D. Pharm 2nd Year), Harshit Sachdeva(B. Pharm 2^nd Year, Section-A) andAryan Bharti (B. Pharm 1st Year, Section-A) and Anjali Chauhan(B. Pharm 1^stYear, Section-B) participated in oral presentation and enhanced awareness on “World Health Day”.

The event was coordinated by faculty members, Mr. Harsh Bhardwaj, Ms. Ashini Singh, Ms. Komal Gurnani, Ms. Gunjan Verma and Ms. Diksha Singh. 

A plantation drive was organised by NSS Unit of Anand Engineering College Agra. The Drive was inaugurated by Dr. Shailendra Singh, Director, Anand Campus.  Around 200 saplings of different plants were planted.  The motto behind this mass plantation drive was to make students aware about the value of a green and healthy environment. This noble act will inspire the young generation to take initiative for the betterment of their surroundings.  Dr. Rampal Singh, NSS officer of the College coordinated the event.

Anand College of Pharmacy, SGI, Agra organized an orientation program for newcomer (fresher) students of B. Pharm. and D. Pharm. on 12 October 2021 in B. Pharm hall of the college. More than 120 students participated in this program with their parents.

Prof. (Dr.) K. J. Gohil, Dean of the college welcomed and congratulated the newcomers on getting admission in Anand college of Pharmacy and talked about the importance of the noble pharmacy profession along with the need of proper aptitude, attitude and discipline from students in studying the professional course as Pharmacy.

Prof. V. K. Sharma (Executive Vice President of SGI) delivered a motivational speech including deep knowledge of the domain, good attitude & behavior, and ability to apply professionalism in real life.

Prof. (Dr.) K. J. Gohil along with Prof. V. K. Sharma felicitated meritorious students of session 2019-20 and 2020-21 respectively. Dr. Pankaj Verma (Registrar) delivered an introduction to the college and organization. Dr. Rekha T. Rajput, Controller of examination delivered a speech on examination patterns and assessment systems. Dr. Ritesh Kumar delivered a presentation on the introduction and scope of pharmacy. Mrs. M. Shamshath Begum informed the rules and regulations of college to students as a counsellor.

In this event, the Dean along with all the faculty members of the college congratulated and blessed them for their bright career in the profession of pharmacy.

Dr. Pankaj Verma, Dr. Rekha T Rajput, Dr. Deepali Pandey and Mr. Gurvinder Pal Singh were the coordinators of this event.

An Awareness Programme on “World Pneumonia Day” was organized at Anand College of Pharmacy, SGI, Agra on 12^thNovember, 2021 with the theme “Stop Pneumonia- Every Breath Counts”

All students, Faculty and staff members participated in this awareness programme with great enthusiasm. The students presented excellent Powerpoint & Poster Presentations regarding the management of Pneumonia to create awareness.

Prof. (Dr.) K J. Gohil, Dean and Prof. (Dr.) Gyanendra Kumar Sharma, CAC, Anand College of Pharmacy congratulated all students , Faculty and staff members for organizing this awareness programme with great zeal and appreciated them for their active participation.

In Power Point Oral Presentation Anjali Chauhan (B. Pharm, 2^nd year, Sec-A), Yash Saxena (B.Pharm, 1^st year, Sec-B) and Vishal Sharma (B.Pharm, 1^st year, Sec-B) secured First, Second and Third positions respectively.

In Poster Presentation Chavi Sharma (B.Pharm, 2^nd year, Sec-A), Nandini Gupta (B.Pharm  1^st year, Sec-B) and Shanskriti Ojha (B.Pharm, 1^st year, Sec-B) secured First, Second and Third Position respectively.

The judges of the event were Dr. Rekha T. Rajput, Dr. Ritesh Kumar, Dr. Gyanendra Singh and Dr. Deepali Pandey.
