10th Convention of AIMA: Academic Partner HIMCS

The 10th MSME Convention was virtually organized by All India Management Association (AIMA). During this convention, our institute Hindustan Institute of Management and Computer Studies, Farah, Mathura got an opportunity to join as an academic partner. In this virtual convention, innovative solutions related to micro small and medium enterprises were discussed. At the beginning of the convention, Honorable Minister of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India, Shri Nitin Gadkari in his address said that today there is a need of an hour to work on new products and new technology. As part of the self-reliance campaign, we saw that during the Corona period, many people started making sanitizers which was much needed. He said today’s research work should be done for the common man. With the advent of technology, we should make products that are low in cost and unmatched in technology without compromising on quality. Today, MSME has the additional responsibility of providing new opportunities in the rural, agricultural and tribal sectors as India is undoubtedly seen as a growing economic country on the world map and the youth here is the backbone of this country. Therefore, there is an urgent need to strengthen the production sector. He extended his best wishes to AIMA for organizing the convention on this subject.

 

 

Today, a total of five planners were held in which in-depth discussion on Innovation Readiness, Emerging Opportunities, Innovative Financing, Branding and Digital and Social Media Marketing were discussed. Various eminent speakers of the country participated in this convention. Mr. Harshapati Singhania, Mr. Rakesh Sethi, Mr. J.S. Juneja, Prof. Raj Aggarwal, Mr. Vipin Tyagi, Mr. Pradeep Sharma, Mr. Prahlada Kakkar are some of the prominent names among them. At the conclusion of the program, Prof. Raj Agarwal thanked everyone and this convention was extended to MSME. He said that on the basis of technology transfer and innovation, we can strengthen our GDP.

 

 

We had a poster competition organized for the students of our institute. The theme of the poster competition was ‘Skill India’. Students expressed their feelings through a sum of 22 posters. First, second and third prizes were given to the students.  During lunch break, a quiz competition was also organized by Dr. Gunjan Bhatnagar (faculty management) with questions based on the functioning of M.S.M.E. and its contribution. The winning students of the quiz were also honored.  The Director of the Institute, Dr.  Naveen Gupta thanked all the members involved in the convention and appreciated own students for asking such relevant questions to the panelist.  He said that our institute likes to have such kind of convention so that our educational activity can also move forward effectively and this proves to help us to enhance better quality in imparting value education.

Mathematics day celebration remembering Dr. Ramanujan

An online program was celebrated on National Mathematics Day at Hindustan College by the Department of Mathematics on the 133rd birthday of the great mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan. In which the great mathematician Mr. Ramanujan was remembered for his unprecedented and international contribution in the field of mathematics. The Chief Guest of the program was Dr.Saurabh Srivastava, the Associate Professor of Mathematics Department of Jaypee University, Solan and as Distinguished Guest Dr. Girraj Verma, Amity University, Gwalior

The program was started by Dr. Rajiv Kumar Upadhyay, Director of the institute, Dr. Harendra Singh, Head of the Department of Mathematics and Dean R&D Prof.  M.S Gaur garlanded the portrait of Shri Ramanujam.

On this occasion, a powerpoint presentation competition was organized by the Department of Mathematics with the theme “Importance of mathematics in engineering and real life” and “A magical way to live and learn mathematics”in that Deepak Kumar, a student of mechanical engineering secured first position the student of Electronics and Communication Shubhangi Shakya got second position and Shikhar Singh student of the Department of Computer Science Engineering secured third position.

Head of Department of Mathematics Department Dr.  Harendra Singh Chauhan told the life of Shri Ramanujan that he was born on 22 December 1887 in Erode, a village in Coimbatore.  His father was Srinivasa Iyengar Taya and the name of his mother was Mrs. Komalathammal.

His life was spent in extreme poverty and trouble, but despite this Ramanujan gave many mathematical formulas and methods in his life.  Over the years, many researches were done and research papers were published in many international journals.  He told that in Ramanujan ji’s dream also the mathematical equations of motion came down as divine blessings like a divine boon.  He gave 3900 mathematical theorems at the age of 32.  He also told about the magical number 1729 which is called Hardy Ramanujan number.

Director of the institute, Dr.  Rajiv Kumar Upadhyay said that our life is fundamental to mathematics.  You can also learn mathematics from the environment.  He advised the students to pay more attention to the subject of mathematics.  Recalling the great mathematician, he said that Shri Ramanujan was very good in mathematics as a child but he never felt good in traditional education.  At the age of only ten years, he had secured the highest marks in the district.  Ramanujan always had a habit of questioning; he used to ask questions in class.  He had studied college level mathematics at school time but due to interest in mathematics, he failed in all subjects except mathematics in class XI. Later he collaborated with Professor Hardy of England and published high-quality research papers.  Ramanujan wrote a high-level paper on mock theta function that is used not only in mathematics but also in medical science to understand cancer.

The program was Coordinated by  Dr. M.P Singh and  conducted by Dr. Mukti Pandey, Assistant Professor of the Department, making the mathematics aware of all the facts.  At the end of the program, the Dr Salim Ahmed proposed a vote of thanks.

The system administrators of the institute, Mr. Kapil Chaudhary and Mr. Anoop Gupta, had a special contribution to make the program successful online.

On this occasion, the Head of Department of Humanities Dr.  Mamat Sharma, Controller of Examinations Dr.  Rajeev Kumar Tiwari, Dr.  Shankar Thawkar, Dr.  Richa Kapoor, Mr. Anurag Vajpayee, Mr. Vipin Kumar, Mr. Sanjay Singh, Mr. Saket Bihari, Mr. Himanshu Rajput and all the teachers and staff members of the institute were present.

Hindustan College ties up with NSIC, Faridabad

Hindustan College of Science and Technology, a prestigious institute of Sharda Group  has tied up with National Small Industries, Technical Services Centre, Neemka, Faridabad for training, internship and placement of students.

NSIC is an organization of the Ministry of Micro Small Medium Enterprises, Government of India, which has a state-of-the-art technical training centre in Faridabad.  It is among the centre’s state-of-the-art technologies to offer training programs and placement opportunities for undergraduate engineering and technical students in various disciplines.  This MOU has been conducted in NSIC Faridabad.

This laboratory will help the students in many subjects like robotic systems, machine vision technology, industrial internet of things etc.  This will help the students of Electronics Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science.

 

Shri Ramkumar Yadav Deputy Chief of NSIC expressed his happiness that the NSIC Technical Servicesis happy to introduce special training programs for college students in association with Hindustan College. He informed that the centre offers customized training programs for students as per the market requirements.  With this agreement, handholding support will be provided to students for working in the laboratory and NSIC centres.  They will also be trained by the experts of the centre.  Studentswill also be trained during summer and winter break. He also informed that college teachers will also be trained under this agreement.

Mr. YK Gupta, Vice Chairman, Sharda Group and Executive Vice President Prof. VK Sharma, Hindustan College’s expressed happiness over the agreement with NSIC  Hesaid that the students of the institute will be certified by the training centres of the government.

Dr.  Rajiv Kumar Upadhyay, the director of the institute thanked NSIC, Faridabad for this agreement with the institute and told that the students of Electronics and Communication, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Chemical Engineering will be trained by the centre and they will get excellent placement opportunities.

Dr. T. Senthil, Head of Industry Interface stated that this agreement would give the student an opportunity to increase his knowledge.  Under this agreement, the student will receive training in various subjects such as Pion, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, 3D Printing, Material Testing, Chemical Testing and Robotic Systems which will help in increasing employment opportunities for the student.  It also planned to organize employment fairs for the employment opportunities of the students.

On this occasion, all the deans, head of department, teachers and employees of the institute expressed happiness over the agreement with NSIC and Hindustan College.

Anand College Of Education Celebrates National Youth Day Celebration

National Youth Day was celebrated with great pomp at Anand College of Education, Keetham Agra. The program was inaugurated by Dr. PK Singh by lighting a lamp in front of Maa Saraswati and laying a wreath on the portrait of Swami Vivekananda. Thinker, philosopher, young monk, sharp speaker and ideal personality. Swami ji, who has revived the Indian cultural consciousness, awakened self-esteem in the Indian youth and created a new ray of hope. All of us should take inspiration from the life and thoughts of Swami ji, the pioneer of Indian Renaissance.

He emphasized on education to earn a living. He said that education should be such that it will provide employment to the child. Blessed is our India land, where such a great man was born, we need to follow the literature of Swamiji only then the students will be given a new direction. On this occasion, all the spokespersons presented their views and the students also presented their statements. Dr. Vishesh Rajput, Dr. Girish Kumar, Mrs. Alka Mishra, Mrs. Bhavna Agre, Mrs. Usha Singh etc. were present in the program. Gauri Chaturvedi, a student, was conducted.

Anand Engineering College signed MOU with NSIC

Anand Engineering College, Agra has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with National Small Industry Corporation (NSIC) to create an ecosystem for promoting, Aiding and fostering the growth of startups by the students of Anand Engineering College.

From NSIC side Sh. T.S. Rajput, General Manager NSIC, and from AEC, Dr. Shailendra Singh, Director signed the memorandum in the presence of other dignitaries.

Dr. Shailendra Singh, Director told that NSIC is the flagship Mini Ratna PSU under ministry of MSME in the business of facilitating MSME in India.

Sh. Dharm Singh Registrar, AEC congratulated all Anandian for this achievement.

Anand College of Pharmacy welcomed freshers of B. Pharm & D. Pharm on 16th January, 2021. Prof. V. K. SharmaExecutive Vice President, SGI, Agra inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. After Saraswti vandana and bouquet presentations, Prof. (Dr) Kashmira J. GohilDean, Anand College of Pharmacy, welcomed all and pointed out the main achievements of the college, while addressing the audience mentioning the historical importance of the day as nationwide vaccination against corona has started in India after never seen lockdown in the country with the major chaos that has ensued in world due to this covid-19. As Anand college of pharmacy has always gathered and maintained momentum for regular classes as online and now online plus offline classes, the students were motivated and instructed to be as dedicated and punctual in their studies emphasizing the need for Discipline as an integral part of student’s lives as the college is committed towards student’s growth and excellence in training in order to cater to the growing demands of Pharma industry. Prof, V. K. Sharma, Vice president of SGI, Agra addressed and motivated students conveying that the life is also a celebration and appealed all to be focused upon professional competence, skill, knowledge, behavior and good attitude to create a strong foundation in order to lead successful life forever. Shri Y. K. Gupta, Hon. Vice chairman, SGI, sent his blessings in the message.

Students participated in an assortment of cultural performances such as   Dancing, Singing, and stand-up comedy; ramp walk and standing dance were the center of attraction among these programs. Khushi Sharma and NamanVatyani (B. Pharm 1 st Year), were chosen as the “Ms. and Mr. fresher” 2021, and  Sanskriti Srivastava and Pragyesh (D.Pharm 1 st Year) were chosen as the “Ms. And Mr. fresher” 2021,and were felicitated by the Dean Prof (Dr). K. J. Gohil. The whole event was coordinated and managed by Cultural Co-coordinators: Mr. Harsh Bardwaj, Mrs. Khushboo Lavania, Ms. komal Gurnani and Ms. Ashini Singh.

Anand College Of Education – Kho-Kho Tournament

Anand College became the winner in the Kho-Kho competition. Pratham Pradeep Dandotiya Smriti Two Day District Level Kho Kho Competition was held at John Milton School, in which the final match was played between Anand College of Education and Sun Shine Academy. Anand College of Education won by 7–0 points.

Founder of Anand College of Education Shri. Y. K. Gupta and the Director Mr. Dr. PK Singh congratulated the winning team. The team coach was Dr. Girish Kumar and team manager Mr. Mukesh Dinkar.

Fresher Party – HCST

On 05th February 2021 Friday, 25th Fresher Party was organized at Hindustan College of Science and Technology,   This function was organized to provide an atmosphere of complete intimacy and cooperation between newcomers and senior students.

The program was started with lighting the lamp in front of Mother Saraswati by Prof V.K. Sharma, Executive Vice President Sharda Group of institutions, Director Hindustan College, Prof. Dr.  Rajeev Kumar Upadhyay, Dean Faculty Dr.  Harendra Singh, Dean R&D Prof.  M. S .Gaur, Dean Student Welfare Dr.  Sandeep Agarwal, First Year Coordinator, Dr.  Suruchi, Assistant Dean Academic Mr. Vijay Katta.

 Director of the institute of Dr. Rajeev Kumar Upadhyay welcomed all the newcomer students and congratulated the senior students for their proper guidance and adoption of newcomer students and making the campus ragging free. He encouraged the first year students for good academic results. He said that 3 students of Hindustan College had Gold, Silver and Bronze medals based on AKTU’s merit list -2020 He said that the students of the institute are excellent not only in academics but also in sports and other disciplines. He motivated the students to keep creative ideas and be serious for study. He also thanked all the people directly and indirectly connected to the program for making the program successful.

 Executive Vice President, Sharda Group Prof. V. K Sharma welcomed all the newcomers and motivated them to  increase their academic performance. He encouraged the students to work in every field for the all round development of their personality.

Dr Rajesh Kaharwar, NCC officer, Lieutenant, Hindustan College, said that the NCC was started in 2012 with 50 seats in the institute and our NCC cadets were at state level, national level with many security forces such as paramilitary forces, Indian Army, state police forces and also employed in a specific security force. On this occasion NCC cadets were awarded certificates for their outstanding performance.

On this occasion, the students of the first year and second year presented cultural programs.

In the same sequence, the performance of Mr. Fresher 2020 Mr. Shikhar Singh, Computer Science and Miss Fresher 2020 Ms. Sejal Jain, Information Technology also received a lot of applause.  At the end of the program.

 Mr. Mukund Lal, Assistant Professor, Department of Electronics Communication Engineering, announced the name of Mr. and Miss of the year 2021. Mr. Shivam Vatayani and Ms. Akshita Sharma, Computer Science were selected as Mr & Ms Fresher2021.

 At the end of the program the Dean Student Welfare Dr. Sandeep Agarwal thanked the Cultural Committee, Food Committee, and congratulated all the organizing committees and senior students for organizing the program successfully.

Cultural program was conducted under the supervision of Mamta Sharma and Mr. Mukund Lal. Dr.Munish Khanna, Dr.Puneet Mangla, Dr.Shankar Thaker, Mr. Saket Bihari, Dr.  R.K.Tiwari, Dr. Richa Kapoor, Mr. Sanjay Singh, Mr. Anurag Vajpayee, Dr.  Ajay Sharma, Mr. Vipin Kumar, Dr. Mukti Richaria, Dr.  Archana Gautam, Mr. Anand Porus, Dr. Pramod Kumar, Dr.Vinod Kushwaha, Mr. Vivek Agarwal had commendable support. All the teachers, staff and students of the institute were present during the program.

Talent Hunt-2020 – HIMCS

The first-year students of Hindustan Institute of Management and Computer Studies, Farah, Mathura (HIMCS) walked into their first year of MBA and MCA program. In an effort to make the fresher’s feel welcomed as a part of the HIMCS family, the Talent Hunt programme was organized by the seniors. Seniors shared their experiences with the new batch of students as they spoke about what awaits the new students in the academic year ahead. Here at HIMCS, Talent Hunt Competition is a platform for MBA and MCA newcomers to showcase their hidden talents. A talent hunt is an event in which participants perform the arts of singing, dancing, lip-syncing, acting, playing an instrument, poetry, comedy or other activities to showcase skills.

A slew of performances were held for the new batch of students. These included performances in dance, music, stand-up comedy and oratory. A funny skit and a management quiz were also on the cards. Thus talent hunt is much awaited affair for seniors as well as juniors. This ceremony began with a candle light welcome for juniors where Director of the institute, Dr. Naveen Gupta lightened the lamp. The ceremony saw many dazzling performances by both seniors and juniors alike from energetic dance numbers that made evening even more charming. Students performed on various songs like kab tak chup baithe, kamli kamli, ore piya, zulie zulie, Oh beta Ji etc. Ramp walk rounds were there, where juniors suppressed their feelings and introduced themselves. They answered the Judge’s questions.

Dr. Naveen Gupta openly praised the immense potential of management and computer studies students. He said that today there is a need to express your words vigorously in front of others where communication becomes very important. He said that I have seen many such students who appear to be very influential externally but as soon as they are asked to express their views on a subject, the reality comes out. Therefore, today there is a need to create our own image. We need to strengthen our network so that the students of the new batch can learn from their experiences and could take inspiration from their seniors.

The Departmental Head-MBA, Dr. Abhilasha Singh, Dr. Riju A. Singh, MCA-Head Shri N. K. Mishra and all the teachers and staff of the institute were present in APJ Kalam Auditorium today. All the people present in the auditorium cheered after seeing the presentation of the first-year aspiring students of the institute. At the same time, the theatrical performances of the final year students were highly appreciated. He captivated everyone with their unique skit. The students performed the melody by the guitar. The amazing talent of the students was enhanced through group dance, group anthem and recitation of poetry together. With the ramp-walk performed by the students was revealing the confidence contained in them, which is essential to strengthen their personality.

Dr. Sheetal Sachdeva, Dr. Gunjan Bhatnagar and Mr. Vivek Pandey were handled the responsibility on behalf of the faculty. From MBA second year Aishwarya Bulani, Rashmi Yadav, Utkarsh Jain, Akshay Pundir, Suraj Chandola, Rishita Jain, Prateek Chawla, Sonali Sonkar, Adarsh Chaudhary were the coordinators for this event and from MCA second year, Prashant Rajawat and Ila Varasi handled this responsibility.

Hardik Jain, a first year student sharing his views said, “Our seniors really put in a lot of time and effort into organizing this talent hunt event and we appreciate them for giving us an insight into their wonderful journey at HIMCS”.
Acknowledging the efforts of the seniors, Mugdha Singh, stated that “In these pandemic times our seniors gave us fresher’s a welcome to the HIMCS family. The love and affection was felt by all of us”.
