Anand Engineering College Agra organized a 7 days Induction Program for its newly admitted students for the session 2020-21. On December 10, 2020 the Valedictory function of Induction Program was organised in C V Raman Hall . The program was started with lighting the lamp before Ma Saraswati, the Goddess of Knowledge. Honorable Director, Dr. Shailendra Singh congratulated all the students and their parents for becoming a member of Anand Family. He told the students about the college facilities and other general rules and regulations. He also presented the achievements of the students in various co-curricular activities.  He motivated the students and asked to come out from the comfort zone and work hard. He also suggested the students to keep in touch with the alumni of the college.

Mr. Manish Babu Agarwal, First Year Coordinator said that good education, decency, good attitude and communication skills are important aspects for a successful career.

The students of Anand Engineering College organized a Freshers’ Party “EUPHORIA 2020” on Dec 29, 2020 to welcome the Batch of 2020. The purpose of the Freshers Party was to make every new student feel connected as an integral part of the ANAND family and be ready to take on the challenges of the year ahead.  Jovial smiles and high spirits marked the welcome party for the new students. The party was organized at Sir C V Raman Auditorium. It manifested youth and enthusiasm at its best.

As a trend of the Institute, the party began with the auspicious lamp lighting ceremony and prayers to Goddess Saraswati.  Dr. Shailendra Singh, Director inaugurated the Event by welcoming the students through his motivational speech. Mr. Dharam Singh, Registrar welcome all new students and said that fresher’s party is all about creating everlasting relationships with each other. Such events are indication of union among the students.

Pulsating ambience, flashing lights and foot-tapping music, set the mood of the party right. The excitement augmented to a joyful high as performances graced the stage. The mercury began to rise, the dance floor was left open for some unbridled energy. Joy and happiness could be seen among students of each and every course at the college.

Vishvendra Singh from CS and Nalini Gupta from MBA I year were declared the Mr. Fresher and Miss Fresher of the Fresher Party. Harsh Mishra, MBA first year and Jahnvi Israni from Biotech First year were declared the winners of Title of Mr and Miss Popular respectively.

Anand College of Pharmacy welcomed freshers of B. Pharm & D. Pharm on 16^th January, 2021. Prof. V. K. Sharma, Executive Vice President, SGI, Agra inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. After Saraswti vandana and bouquet presentations, Prof. (Dr) Kashmira J. Gohil, Dean, Anand College of Pharmacy, welcomed all and pointed out the main achievements of the college, while addressing the audience mentioning the historical importance of the day as nationwide vaccination against corona has started in India after never seen lockdown in the country with the major chaos that has ensued in world due to this covid-19. As Anand college of pharmacy has always gathered and maintained momentum for regular classes as online and now online plus offline classes, the students were motivated and instructed to be as dedicated and punctual in their studies emphasizing the need for Discipline as an integral part of student’s lives as the college is committed towards student’s growth and excellence in training in order to cater to the growing demands of Pharma industry. Prof, V. K. Sharma, Vice president of SGI, Agra addressed and motivated students conveying that the life is also a celebration and appealed all to be focused upon professional competence, skill, knowledge, behavior and good attitude to create a strong foundation in order to lead successful life forever. Shri Y. K. Gupta, Hon. Vice chairman, SGI, sent his blessings in the message.

Students participated in an assortment of cultural performances such as   Dancing, Singing, and stand-up comedy; ramp walk and standing dance were the center of attraction among these programs. Khushi Sharma and NamanVatyani (B. Pharm 1 st Year), were chosen as the “Ms. and Mr. fresher” 2021, and  Sanskriti Srivastava and Pragyesh (D.Pharm 1 st Year) were chosen as the “Ms. And Mr. fresher” 2021,and were felicitated by the Dean Prof (Dr). K. J. Gohil. The whole event was coordinated and managed by Cultural Co-coordinators: Mr. Harsh Bardwaj, Mrs. Khushboo Lavania, Ms. komal Gurnani and Ms. Ashini Singh.
