An Online orientation program was conducted to welcome newly admitted students in first year at Anand Engineering College Agra, the prestigious college of Sharda Group of Institutions. The program was organized according to the prescribed schedule of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow.
Dr. Shailendra Singh, Director of the college congratulated all the students and their parents for being a part of ANAND Family. In his welcome address he brief the students about the college facilities like hostel, medical, transport, library and laboratories. He also presented the achievements of the students of the college. He threw some light on annual celebrations, Counseling System, Training and Placement, Training and Development and Cultural Activities. He motivated the students and asked to come out from the comfortable zone and work hard. He also suggested the students to keep in touch with the alumni of the college.
Prof. V. K Sharma, Executive Vice President, Sharda Group of Institutions thanked all the parents to express their faith in the college. He said that good education, decency, good attitude and communication skills are very important aspects for a successful career. He advised the students to be self governed and be disciplined throughout their life.
Dr Manish Babu Agarwal, Coordinator of First Year interacted with the parents and students and told that the Induction Program will help the students to understand the need and responsibilities towards the family, society and nature along with their core subjects.
Anand Engineering College Agra organized a 7 days Induction Program for its newly admitted students for the session 2020-21. On December 10, 2020 the Valedictory function of Induction Program was organised in C V Raman Hall . The program was started with lighting the lamp before Ma Saraswati, the Goddess of Knowledge. Honorable Director, Dr. Shailendra Singh congratulated all the students and their parents for becoming a member of Anand Family. He told the students about the college facilities and other general rules and regulations. He also presented the achievements of the students in various co-curricular activities. He motivated the students and asked to come out from the comfort zone and work hard. He also suggested the students to keep in touch with the alumni of the college.

The students of Anand Engineering College organized a Freshers’ Party “EUPHORIA 2020” on Dec 29, 2020 to welcome the Batch of 2020. The purpose of the Freshers Party was to make every new student feel connected as an integral part of the ANAND family and be ready to take on the challenges of the year ahead. Jovial smiles and high spirits marked the welcome party for the new students. The party was organized at Sir C V Raman Auditorium. It manifested youth and enthusiasm at its best.
As a trend of the Institute, the party began with the auspicious lamp lighting ceremony and prayers to Goddess Saraswati. Dr. Shailendra Singh, Director inaugurated the Event by welcoming the students through his motivational speech. Mr. Dharam Singh, Registrar welcome all new students and said that fresher’s party is all about creating everlasting relationships with each other. Such events are indication of union among the students.
Pulsating ambience, flashing lights and foot-tapping music, set the mood of the party right. The excitement augmented to a joyful high as performances graced the stage. The mercury began to rise, the dance floor was left open for some unbridled energy. Joy and happiness could be seen among students of each and every course at the college.
Vishvendra Singh from CS and Nalini Gupta from MBA I year were declared the Mr. Fresher and Miss Fresher of the Fresher Party. Harsh Mishra, MBA first year and Jahnvi Israni from Biotech First year were declared the winners of Title of Mr and Miss Popular respectively.

Anand Engineering College, Agra has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with National Small Industry Corporation (NSIC) to create an ecosystem for promoting, Aiding and fostering the growth of startups by the students of Anand Engineering College.
From NSIC side Sh. T.S. Rajput, General Manager NSIC, and from AEC, Dr. Shailendra Singh, Director signed the memorandum in the presence of other dignitaries.
Dr. Shailendra Singh, Director told that NSIC is the flagship Mini Ratna PSU under ministry of MSME in the business of facilitating MSME in India.
Sh. Dharm Singh Registrar, AEC congratulated all Anandian for this achievement.
As part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav a Fit India Freedom Run SHARDA VIRTUAL MARATHON – 2021 was organised by Anand Engineering College, Agra on August 13 & 14, 2021. Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsava is celebrated all across the country and Anand Engineering College too joins the celebration through the SHARDA VIRTUAL MARATHON – 2021. The Marathon was categorised into three levels – 2Km, 5 Km and 10 Km.
Dr. Shailendra Singh, Director of the College flag off the Virtual Marathon. The Event was coordinated by Dr. Rampal Singh and Er. Prakash Kumar.
Dr.A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow recently announced the B.Tech Final Year result. The result was 100 percent. More than 76% students of AEC secured 80 percent marks and brightened the name of the institute. Dr. Shailendra Singh, Director of the College congratulated all the students and their parents.
On this achievement of the Institute, Vice Chairman of Sharda Group Mr. Y.K. Gupta, Executive Vice President Prof. V.K.Sharma also congratulated all the meritorious students and teachers for their commendable teaching.
The Honorable Director also congratulated all the teachers and counselors to set new records in the future and to brighten the name of the institute.
